My top 5 Te Araroa trail meals
Eating out of a backpack for days or weeks on end means you often get pretty sick of the same old food, but for me I was more than happy to keep coming back to some grand old favourites. All of these are “one pot” wonders and most take a minimal amount of cooking. Most are also reasonably light weight making them ideal for multi day sections of the trail.
